Welcome Welcome to Stark County Medical Group's Website. It is with a very heavy heart that we are announcing the Dr. Barbara Volk will be retiring. Her official last day will be June 30, 2026. We will be adding another Nurse Practitioner to the office while we continue to look for a doctor to join the practice.  We are working on changes to the schedule and will update on this as this process is continuing evolving.  We are excited to announce that we have had a lot of positive feedback regarding our new Behavior Health Nurse Practitioner, Heather Bracken-Ott. If you would like an appointment to discuss your behavioral health concerns with her please let the office know.  It has been brought to our attention that patients have been receiving calls from individuals indicating they are calling from the office and asked them to provide information regarding their insurance and medications. This appears to be SCAM callers. Unfortunately the caller ID indicated the call was from Stacey Hollaway. Please note the caller ID from our office should indicate "Healthcare" or "Stark County Medical Group." Please note that if anytime during a call you question the validity of the caller, please ask the caller for their name and call our main number (330)499-3377 and ask to speak to the caller. We are closed on Wednesday, but we do have a 24 hour answering service that can assist your care needs. We are currently answering our phones as follows Monday            8:30am-11:30am and 1pm-3pm Tuesday           8:30am-11:30am and 1pm-4pm Wednesday      Closed Thursday          8:30am-11:30am and 1pm-4pm Friday               8:30am-11:30am and 1pm-3pm Please note that these hours are subject to change based on our schedule in the office and staffing limitations due to COVID-19 mandated isolations and quarantines.  We have a 24 hour answering service that will assist you in your care needs if we are not available or if it is after hours. We also have a patient portal where you can send non-emergent messages through to have us address.
